1. Identify and name your anxious thoughts so you can take them captive. (2 Cor 10:5)
2. Think.
a. Look at/Behold/Consider His Providence and His Love. (Matt 6:25-34; Rom 8:32
b. Think about what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise. (Phil 4:8)
c. Set your minds on things that are above (Col 3:2)
3. Talk to your heart instead of let tin your heart talk to you. (Ps 42:5)
4. Be in His presence.
a. Trust Him in prayer. (Phil 4:7)
b. Dwell with the Lord and gaze upon His beauty. (Ps 27-4)
5. Be Thankful. (Phil 4:7)
a. Be specific about what you are thankful for.
b. Thank God as you pray.
6. Submit your will to his. (1 Pet 5:6-7)
7. Be fully present in the present time. (Matt 6:34)
