Key Verse: “But who am i, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you… I know, my God, that you test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. (In the uprightness of my heart I have freely offered all these things, and not I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you” (1 Chron. 29:14 & 17) 1. The precedent for sharing
“We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19)

“Then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine” (Prov. 3:10).
4. The proportion of sharing
“Now concerning the collection for the saints: as i directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do. On the forest day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper...” (1 Cor. 16:1-2)
5. The pleasure of sharing
“Each on emus give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly of under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7)
