Lucas 13:18-21

‭‭S. Lucas‬ ‭13‬:‭18‬-‭21‬‬
Y dijo: ¿A qué es semejante el reino de Dios, y con qué lo compararé? Es semejante al grano de mostaza, que un hombre tomó y sembró en su huerto; y creció, y se hizo árbol grande, y las aves del cielo anidaron en sus ramas. Y volvió a decir: ¿A qué compararé el reino de Dios? Es semejante a la levadura, que una mujer tomó y escondió en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo hubo fermentado.

1. El Crecimiento externo del Reino de Dios (13:18-19)

Mateo 13:44-46

‭‭S. Mateo‬ ‭13‬:‭44‬-‭46‬‬
Además, el reino de los cielos es semejante a un tesoro escondido en un campo, el cual un hombre halla, y lo esconde de nuevo; y gozoso por ello va y vende todo lo que tiene, y compra aquel campo. También el reino de los cielos es semejante a un mercader que busca buenas perlas, que habiendo hallado una perla preciosa, fue y vendió todo lo que tenía, y la compró.

1. El Reino es de un valor incalculable.
2. El Reino no se ve a simple vista.
3. El Reino es un asunto personal.
4. El Reino es la fuente del gozo.
5. El Reino es para todos, aunque no lo busquen.
6. El Reino tiene un alto precio.

¡El Reino de Dios es por lo único que vale la pena dejar todo!

"The Value of the Gospel"

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭44‬-‭46‬‬
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

The kingdom of heaven is not simply like a treasure, The kingdom of heaven is like the situation of finding the treasure, valuing it properly, and acting appropriately.


Mark 8:34b-36
If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?

Mark 8:37-38
For what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”


Hebrews 1:3
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.

The kingdom of heaven is not simply like a treasure, The kingdom of heaven is like the situation of finding the treasure, valuing it properly, and acting appropriately.

The Lord is My Shepherd

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬‬
The Lord is my shepherd; I have what I need. He lets me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters. He renews my life; he leads me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff — they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord as long as I live.

FEAR
Fear comes when I don’t see God as my provider and protector.

Fear will cause you to miss out on the promises of God.


FAITH
Only FAITH fixes fear.

Faith is about God being first.

Faith will take you to the promises of God.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬‬
Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff — they comfort me.

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬‬
The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I watch over my word to accomplish it.”

FAVOR

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬‬
Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff — they comfort me.

FAVOR

Favor means God is there.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭6‬‬
Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord as long as I live.

El Camino de la Bendicion
Filipenses 3:12-14

‭‭Filipenses‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭14‬‬
No que lo haya alcanzado ya, ni que ya sea perfecto; sino que prosigo, por ver si logro asir aquello para lo cual fui también asido por Cristo Jesús. Hermanos, yo mismo no pretendo haberlo ya alcanzado; pero una cosa hago: olvidando ciertamente lo que queda atrás, y extendiéndome a lo que está delante, prosigo a la meta, al premio del supremo llamamiento de Dios en Cristo Jesús.

1. NUESTRA EVALUACION SE DEBE HACER CON BUENA ACTITUD

- Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte, No temeré mal alguno, porque tú estarás conmigo; Tu vara y tu cayado me infundirán aliento.
Salmo 23:4

- No que lo haya alcanzado ya, ni que ya sea perfecto; sino que prosigo, por ver si logro asir aquello para lo cual fui también asido por Cristo Jesús.

2. LAS EXPERIENCIAS DEL PASADO MARCAN TU VIDA PERO NO DETERMINARAN TU FUTURO

- Hermanos, yo mismo no pretendo haberlo ya alcanzado; pero una cosa hago: olvidando ciertamente lo que queda atrás

3. NUESTRA MIRADA DEBE ESTAR PUESTA HACIA ADELANTE (FE)

- El Apostol dijo:
...y extendiéndome a lo que está delante

- 25 Tus ojos miren lo recto, Y diríjanse tus párpados hacia lo que tienes delante.26 Examina la senda de tus pies, Y todos tus caminos sean rectos. 27 No te desvíes a la derecha ni a la izquierda; Aparta tu pie del mal. Proverbios 4: 25-27

4. LEVANTEMONOS Y PROSIGAMOS QUE NO ESTAMOS SOLO EN ESTE CAMINO

- Ustedes no han pasado por ninguna prueba que no sea humanamente soportable. Y pueden ustedes confiar en Dios, que no los dejará sufrir pruebas más duras de lo que pueden soportar. Por el contrario, cuando llegue la prueba, Dios les dará también la manera de salir de ella, para que puedan soportarla. 1 Corintios 10:13

- El apostol dijo: "... prosigo a la meta, al premio del supremo llamamiento de Dios en Cristo Jesús".

Challenges and Choices

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭13‬:‭30‬-‭33‬‬
Then Caleb quieted the people in the presence of Moses and said, “Let’s go up now and take possession of the land because we can certainly conquer it!” But the men who had gone up with him responded, “We can’t attack the people because they are stronger than we are!” So they gave a negative report to the Israelites about the land they had scouted: “The land we passed through to explore is one that devours its inhabitants, and all the people we saw in it are men of great size. We even saw the Nephilim there — the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim! To ourselves we seemed like grasshoppers, and we must have seemed the same to them.”

1. God Has A Challenge
“Will you trust Me”


Numbers 13:1-2
“The LORD spoke to Moses: “Send men to scout out the land of Canaan (challenge) I am giving to the Israelites; (promise)”


Faith is - totally relying on God because you know that He won’t let you down.


God is more interested in your BELIEF than He is in your RELIEF!


2. We Have A Choice
​ *FEAR

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭14‬:‭1‬-‭4‬‬
Then the whole community broke into loud cries, and the people wept that night. All the Israelites complained about Moses and Aaron, and the whole community told them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt, or if only we had died in this wilderness! Why is the Lord bringing us into this land to die by the sword? Our wives and children will become plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” So they said to one another, “Let’s appoint a leader and go back to Egypt.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭14‬:‭33‬‬
Your children will be shepherds in the wilderness for forty years and bear the penalty for your acts of unfaithfulness until all your corpses lie scattered in the wilderness.

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭14‬:‭28‬-‭30‬‬
Tell them: As I live — this is the Lord’s declaration — I will do to you exactly as I heard you say. Your corpses will fall in this wilderness — all of you who were registered in the census, the entire number of you twenty years old or more  — because you have complained about me. I swear that none of you will enter the land I promised to settle you in, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

2. We Have A Choice
​ *FEAR
*FAITH

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭2‬:‭23‬-‭24‬‬
Then the men returned, came down from the hill country, and crossed the Jordan. They went to Joshua son of Nun and reported everything that had happened to them. They told Joshua, “The Lord has handed over the entire land to us. Everyone who lives in the land is also panicking because of us.”

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬, ‭20‬‬
After the seventh time, the priests blew the rams’ horns, and Joshua said to the troops, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the city. So the troops shouted, and the rams’ horns sounded. When they heard the blast of the ram’s horn, the troops gave a great shout, and the wall collapsed. The troops advanced into the city, each man straight ahead, and they captured the city.

God doesn’t guarantee that the journey will be easy, but He does guarantee that when you arrive at your destination, it will be the Promised Land.
